Home Organizing Services Agreement
Sorted Simply provides home organizing and interior design related services, including but not limited to sorting, moving, and handling personal belongings; decluttering; space planning; product recommendations; and optional shopping services for an additional fee.
The Company does not provide moving, hauling, deep cleaning, or professional repair services.
Client Responsibilities
Client agrees to provide a safe work environment for all sessions. Sorted Simply reserves the right to refuse, pause, or terminate services at any time including due to conditions being unsafe, hazardous, unlawful, or unsanitary. Client remains responsible for payment for all time completed.
Client shall:
- Identify and disclose any fragile, valuable, sentimental, confidential, or restricted items before services begin;
- Ensure walkways and work areas are reasonably accessible and free from dangerous conditions;
- Secure all firearms, weapons, and hazardous materials away from work area; and
- Be responsible for decisions regarding the disposal, donation, relocation, or retention of personal property.
Assumption of Risk and Limitation of Liability
Client understands and acknowledges that home organizing services involve inherent risks, including accidental damage to personal property. Sorted Simply shall not be liable for pre-existing damage; normal wear and tear; and damage caused by faulty assembly, unstable furniture, overloaded shelving, improper installation, or aging materials.
Scheduling, Cancellations, and Rescheduling
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than forty-eight (48) hours before the scheduled session are subject to a $50 cancellation fee. Same-day cancellations are subject to a charge equal to fifty percent (50%) of the scheduled service fee.
Payment is due upon completion of each session. Sorted Simply reserves the right to reschedule services due to illness, emergency, unsafe weather, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Photography and Media Release
Sorted Simply may take before-and-after photographs solely for documentation of organizing progress. Client grants Sorted Simply the right to use photographs for lawful marketing and promotional purposes, including social media, website content, advertising, and portfolios. No photographs containing identifiable personal information will be publicly shared without Client’s consent.
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the Client and Sorted Simply regarding the services.
By booking, scheduling, or receiving services from Sorted Simply, Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Agreement.
